Christmas in Hamilton

We had such a good time visiting family in Ohio. This layout features our 2DGD's, our daughter and husband, our youngest son, and my brother. Oh yeah, my husband and I are in it too:)

I used papers from my Holidazzle kits and the sketch was provided by Traci of Prairie Woman Designs.

Another New Year on the horizon!

Here we are at the end of another year...and what a year it has been! We have been most fortunate to have been able to visit family and friends to stay connected. It takes a very long drive (12-15 hours) to see 7 of our 8 grandchildren, but what awaits us at the end makes that drive so very worth it! I hope we can continue to make these trips in the coming year to see our little girls growing up. Our one and only grandson lives an hour away, so we do get to see him more frequently. He's growing into a mischievous little tyke! Can't take your eyes off him for a second! To say the least, we have been Blessed beyond all measure!

As I sit here and look out the window, I can enjoy the beauty of the remnants of the Christmas 2009 blizzard that hit the Midwest. We have snow piled up all around us and it isn't going anywhere soon with the high temps only in single digits! This will only make our upcoming trip to Hawaii in April that much more appreciated!

As we end the year, I want to wish each and every one who has and will visit my blog a very Joyous and Prosperous New Year.

New kit released

Here in the United States we will be observing Thanksgiving this week. We will be celebrating with family here in MN and keeping the rest of our family close in our hearts. I am so thankful for the wonderful family I have and all my beautiful grandchildren. I am truly blessed!

The big holiday shopping season begins the day after Thanksgiving. I purposely avoid all the day-after sales purely for my own sanity and the desire to avoid conflict. I do most of my shopping online, so that in itself helps me avoid the long lines and quite possibly the threat of snow.

In keeping with the season, I've just released a new kit called Holidazzle. It's a fun little kit full of bright holiday colors and sparkle. It should be up in my shoppe soon. Below is the preview and a layout I made using papers and elements from the kit.
